Event - European Investigative Journalism Conference (Antwerp)

16/11
2012

This upcoming November, Antwerp is the place-to-be for investigative journalists from Belgium, Holland and beyond. On November 16-17, the VVOJ, the Dutch-Flemish Association for Investigative Journalists, is due to hold its annual conference.

This year, the VVOJ is celebrating its 10th anniversary. To mark this event, the annual conference, hosted by the Plantijn Hogeschool in Antwerp, will have a festive and international character.

Conference Program
Early September, the full program of the conference will be published on the VVOJ website, along with the list of guest speakers, teachers and trainers.

Conference fees
As always, the VVOJ offers early bird registration fees for those journalists who register on time. Members pay reduced fees. Journalism students pay special reduced student fees. The early bird registration is due to open this summer and will continue until mid-August. Those who register later than mid-August will pay the regular fees.

Cancellation
It is possible to cancel your registration until 6 weeks before the conference. Between six to two weeks before the conference, you will be charged 50 percent of the conference fee. During the final two weeks before the conference, it is no longer possible to cancel. However, you may request to transfer your registration to someone else. This is only possible following explicit permission from the VVOJ office secretariat, which must be arranged ahead of the conference (mail to: secretariaat [at] vvoj [dot] nl or call +31 30 – 219 30 11). The cancellation fee is 25 euro (administrative expenses).
