Investigative journalism award to Adrian Mogos

BRUSSELS – 13 / 7 / 2010 – Romanian journalist Adrian Mogos has won the CEI – SEEMO award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism. Mogos is praised for his cross-border stories, among them the Slave Labour Trafficking, which was made possible through a grant from Journalismfund.eu.

About the European Fund for Investigative Journalism

The aim of the European Fund for Investigative Journalism is to promote quality journalism in Europe by giving journalists the chance to carry out journalistic research projects. The Fund - Journalismfund.eu - is firmly rooted in the investigative journalism community. It's board consists of representatives from organisations furthering research journalism and of estimated individuals. Journalismfund.eu raises and redistributes funds according to the principles of full transparency and absolute editorial independence. The fund is a project of the Belgian Pascal Decroos Fond, but will after an inception phase be turned into an independent non-profit entity.
