About the European Fund for Investigative Journalism
The aim of the European Fund for Investigative Journalism is to promote quality journalism in Europe by giving journalists the chance to carry out journalistic research projects.
The Fund - Journalismfund.eu - is firmly rooted in the investigative journalism community. It's advisory board consists of representatives from organisations furthering research journalism and of estimated individuals.
Journalismfund.eu raises and redistributes funds according to the principles of full transparency and absolute editorial independence.
The fund is a project of the Belgian Pascal Decroos Fond, but will after an inception phase be turned into an independent non-profit entity.
