Investigative journalism award to Adrian Mogos

BRUSSELS – 13 / 7 / 2010 – Romanian journalist Adrian Mogos has won the CEI – SEEMO award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism. Mogos is praised for his cross-border stories, among them the Slave Labour Trafficking, which was made possible through a grant from Journalismfund.eu.

BELGIUM The Pascal Decroos Fund

The Pascal Decroos Fund promotes investigative journalism in the written and audio-visual press in Flanders by granting working grants to journalists who are willing to work on a special project. Both beginning and experienced journalists qualify for such working grants.

HUNGARY The Soma Foundation

"The Gőbölyös József "Soma" Foundation seeks to enhance the functioning of democracy in Hungary by providing awards, stipends and legal defense to investigative journalists working toward greater transparency and accountability in society" according to its website.

NORWAY Skup

The Norwegian foundation for investigative journalism (Stiftelsen for en Kritisk og Undersøkende Presse, SKUP) is a foundation dedicated to promoting investigative journalism in Norway. It was established in 1990.
