Ana Poenariu is a Romanian journalist, based in Bucharest.

She is a reporter for Public Record, a new independent investigative outlet in Romania that she co-founded, and runs Factual.ro, a fact-checking initiative. Previously, she worked for the RISE Project, a community of journalists, programmers and activists investigating organised crime and corruption affecting Romania and countries in the region. Among other things, Ana worked on several stories related to European funds.
