Bryan splits his time between Cambridge in the UK and Ghana, and has spent many years covering African issues in a range of journals and newspapers.

He is currently MD of Asempa Ltd, the publisher of Africa Confidential, as well as being Vice-Chair of Penplusbytes, a leading journalist training organisation based out of Accra, as well as being a mango and pineapple farmer in Ghana’s Volta Region.
