Jiří Štický worked for many years in the economic editorial office of MF DNES.

In 2003 he became editor and since 2007, he has been the head of the economic editorial office of the country's largest daily newspaper.

In 2014, he joined Reporter magazine, which was founded by the former editor-in-chief of MF Dnes after the daily was bought by former prime minister and businessman Andrej Babiš. Jiří also writes articles for Ekonews.
