Laban Laisila (Jakarta) currently heads the newsroom at NARASI, a digital media start-up known for its hard-hitting news talk show and investigative programme.

He's been a journalist for more than two decades since 2002 and his responsibilities include supervising in-depth story programmes as well as managing the production of news updates and features on environmental issues (mining, oceans, renewable energy, deforestation), human rights and political issues.

Laban has previously worked for various national and international news outlets including KBR 68H, Radio ABC Australia, Suara.com and Indonesian national television Metro TV.
