HAMBURG - German association of investigative journalists Netzwerk Recherche held its annual nr-conference for the thirteenth time this July in Hamburg. Journalismfund.eu chairwoman Brigitte Alfter was one of the speakers.
Alfter talked about methods to tackle planning, communication, ethics and storytelling problems when doing cross-border investigative teamwork. Information about the presentation can be found here.
She also moderated a panel discussion with investigative journalists Seymour Hersh, Georg Mascolo, Monika Bäuerlein and Andrew Lehren on the differences and similarities between investigative journalism in the US and Germany.
