News - 'In the Name of the State III' best-selling book in Slovenia

'In the Name of the State III' best-selling book in Slovenia
29/05
2012

LJUBLJANA - The third volume of the In the Name of the State trilogy, 'Cover-up', a project funded by Journalismfund.eu, reached the n° 1 position in the May bestsellers top ten of Slovenian bookstores.

Journalists Matej Šurc and Blaž Zgaga investigated the trade of arms in Slovenia during the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s and wrote their findings into a trilogy.

The third volume was published in April 2012. After being the n° 3 best-selling book in Slovenia that same month, it jumped to the top of the list in May. The book deals with the way some prominent politicians who during the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s were involved in illegal arms trade, have managed to keep their activities hidden for the past twenty years.
