BRUSSELS - The #PanamaPapers will be very much present at the 2016 Dataharvest Conference, which takes place June 3-5 in Belgium. Another eyecatcher is BuzzFeed UK's Heidi Blake, who will talk about her #TennisRacket match-fixing investigation.

With keynotes by several of the journalists behind the #PanamaPapers investigation and by investigative journalist Heidi Blake from BuzzFeed's #TennisRacket matchfixing investigation, the 2016 edition of the conference is sure to be the most inspiring yet.

#PanamaPapers deals with the biggest leak of inside information in history, revealing the offshore links of some of the planet's most prominent people. The investigation, a collaborative effort of more than 370 journalists digging through 2.6 terabytes or 11.5 million documents, is in itself a remarkable feat. Over several sessions at the Dataharvest, key team members will explain how the collaboration was set up and discuss the methods used.

Heidi Blake will talk about the match-fixing scandal in the tennis world that she exposed together with colleague John Templon. There will be related sessions on investigative sports reporting, too, such as the Journalismfund.eu-supported stories on fraudulent football agents in Nigeria and on European football clubs' hiring of non-European minors.

Additional sessions will include online research, tax and finance investigations, the #MEPsProject by journalists taking the European Parliament to court, and many more.
