BRUSSELS – Journalismfund.eu’s next upcoming deadline is planned for the 2nd of June. In the months running up to the deadline, we offer advice sessions to journalists who are thinking of applying.

Our managing editor Brigitte Alfter has blocked four half-days for Skype consultations with interested journalists:

  • April 14th from 1 to 3.30 pm
  • April 22nd from 1 to 4.30 pm
  • May 19th from 1 to 3.30 pm
  • May 26th from 1 to 4.30 pm

If you are thinking of submitting an application for the June 2nd deadline and you have questions concerning your story, the eligibility criteria, finding suitable colleagues etc., it might be a good idea to talk with Brigitte Alfter before applying.

Well-prepared

Note that we receive dozens of well-prepared, interesting applications each application round, so your application will only stand a chance to be allocated a working grant if it is very well prepared (and meets the rules for application)! This means you should start preparing your application now. Do consider a talk with Brigitte, especially if you are unfamiliar or inexperienced with the Journalismfund.eu working grant programme.

To arrange a time slot for an advice session, send us an e-mail at info[at]journalismfund.eu with a preferred date and time.
