A JF-supported investigation on World-Check, has been nominated for an award by the Dutch organisation for online journalism (VOJN). 
The story revealed how innocent people around the world had been added to a watch list of terrorists and criminals by Thomson Reuters. In a watch list dubbed World-Check, Thomson Reuters compiled a list of ‘high risk’ people and organisations. Following the leak of the watch list on a public internet site, the investigation revealed a range of questionable entries. Read the whole story here.

ONLINE - The study “Uncovering news deserts in Europe. Risks and opportunities for local and community media in the EU” by the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom (CMPF) was published today. This research detects challenges and opportunities for local and community media in the 27 EU Member States, analysing the news deserts phenomenon from a holistic perspective.
