Journalismfund.eu announces a new donor

BRUSSELS – Journalismfund.eu is very happy to announce the Dutch Adessium Foundation as a new donor. Over a period of three years, from October 2013 to September 2016, Adessium Foundation will support Journalismfund.eu’s cross-border investigative journalism programme as a premium donor.

Organ Trafficking in Kosovo

PRISTINA - Between 1999 and 2001, Kosovo's Liberation army, the KLA, possibly used Serbian war prisoners' organs to supply illegal organ trafficking on a massive and international scale, under the eyes and maybe even with the collaboration of the international community present in the country.

Application deadline postponed to 21 October

BRUSSELS – The Journalismfund.eu application deadline, initially planned for 16 September, has been postponed to Monday 21 October. Applications that have already been submitted will of course automatically be valid for the new deadline.

New Chair for Journalismfund.eu

BRUSSELS – The Journalismfund.eu General Assembly elected a new Chair during its meeting in Brussels on August 26, 2013. Brigitte Alfter replaces Paul Decroos.

Prize for the Freedom and Future of the Media (Leipzig)

On October 8, 2013 the Leipziger Medienstiftung will hand out its media awards during a ceremony at its headquarters in Leipzig.
