MINSK - Belarusian goods are invading Europe, despite the ban imposed by Brussels.

Forty-four cases of sanctions violations were uncovered only by Polish regulators, who recently handed over the evidence to the prosecutor's office. Meanwhile, together with investigative journalists from different countries, we continue to identify new shadow players in the Belarusian timber business under sanctions. In this article, we talk about new companies with Belarusian beneficiaries and about Belarusian state-owned companies that supply plywood to Europe through their branches and representative offices.

Evidence of multi-million turnover, Belarusian officials with criminal pasts, and an international sanctions-busting network are presented in this investigation.
