Marc Hoogsteyns

 

Marc Hoogsteyns (°1961) is a Belgian journalist who has been living and working in Africa for 25 years. In 2014 he decided to set up a small press agency in the African Great Lakes region together with colleagues Adeline Umutoni and Chrispin Mvano.

 

Marcel van Silfhout

 

Marcel van Silfhout, born in 1968, is an investigative journalist, author, food and railway writer. He worked for regional newspapers and Dutch Television programs like Zembla (VARA) and KRO Reporter. In recent years he wrote several books.

Maria Groot

 
Maria Groot
Maria Groot (1983) is an independent journalist.
Her work has been published in Slate (USA) De Groene Amsterdammer (NL) Courrier International (FR) and De Standaard (BE) among others. She has realized cross-border investigative projects related to slavery in Mauritania and migrant smuggling from northern Europe into the UK. Groot holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Fine Arts and a postgraduate degree in International Researchjournalism.

Marian Männi is an Estonian journalist working for national weekly Eesti Ekspress. She mostly writes about social affairs and human rights, and also works on data journalism projects.

 

Marijntje Denters

 

Marijntje Denters is a journalist at VPRO. Together with twenty-one other journalists from eleven European countries, he investigated the European security sector. The result was a big scale journalismfund supported project dubbed 'Security for Sale'.
