Investigative journalism award to Adrian Mogos

BRUSSELS – 13 / 7 / 2010 – Romanian journalist Adrian Mogos has won the CEI – SEEMO award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism. Mogos is praised for his cross-border stories, among them the Slave Labour Trafficking, which was made possible through a grant from Journalismfund.eu.

How to apply

Applications can be filed only, when there is an open call for proposals.

The call for proposals is intended to be launched once per quarter once Journlismfund.eu is fully up and running, currently the intervals are irregular. Every call for proposals will be announced on the Journalismfund.eu website and via its mailing list, the Global List (www.globalinvestigativejournalism.org), via journalist assocations and networks and, of course, via the newsletter mailinglist on this webside. If you want to be sure to be notified directly, please sign up on the newsletter mailinglist on the front page.

Submission of the proposal by the applicant is accepted only through the upload function on this website.

•    Personal details, including bank account number
•    Indication of the intended medium and form of project (investigative journalism, preliminary investigation
•    Description of the project, content, method and research plan
•    Explanation of why the applicant is making an appeal to the Fund
•    Schedule, including expected date of publication
•    Budget, including statement of other sources of financing
•    An editor's written letter of intent to take on a product ( sample letter of intent (rtf, 37 KB))
•    Experience/references/C.V. (relevant copies in annex/upload)

In the event that certain facts have not been provided or are not clear, the Fund may request supplementary information from the applicant.

The Fund will confirm the receipt of the uploaded application via an e-mail to you.
