Money Trail Grants

Money Trail offers (since 2018) grants for African, Asian and European journalists to investigate cross-border illicit financial flows, tax abuse, money laundering and corruption.

Pascal Decroos Fund

The Pascal Decroos Fund strives (since 1999) to advance investigative journalism in the Flemish media. It awards grants to distinctive journalistic projects that are published or broadcast in Flemish media.

Next application deadline: 18 October 2020.

European Cross-border Grants

With the awarded European Cross-Border Grant programme, Journalismfund.eu supports (since 2009) professional journalists who have good ideas for cross-border investigation and for research on European affairs.

The next application round will be in 2021.

Journalismfund.eu LOCAL

Journalismfund.eu is launching a pilot project in which Belgian and Dutch journalists can jointly apply for a grant for local investigative journalism.

The application deadline for this grant programme is 12 October 2020.

Journalismfund.eu has the ambition to further roll out this project on a European scale, and is looking for donors to do so.

In the Summer of 2018 the Flemish Journalism Fund was launched, to support diversity and innovation in journalism in Flanders. The Fund was a project of Journalismfund.eu, in partnership with the Flemish Association of Journalists and the Flemish government.
