Okot Emmanuel is an investigative and human rights journalist based in South Sudan. 

Okot covered stories that had exposed corruption scandal, gender base violence and gross violation of human rights across the country for instance illegal detention of opposition and stanch critics of the government among others. He had been writing about a range of topics including crime, health, politic, travel, sports, refugee etc. 

Okot is currently working as a broadcast journalist and the producer and presenter of Sundown show, a current affairs program at Eye Radio.  

Okot has worked as an editor and a staff writer at the standard newspaper at Uganda Christian University in 2018. Okot has completed gender and conflict sensitive reporting by UNESCO and UNDP. 
Okot holds a degree in Mass Communication from Uganda Christian University, Uganda.
