Health authorities across the globe have failed to protect millions of patients from poorly tested implants, the first-ever global examination of the medical device industry reveals. For their annual Fonds National Suisse (SNF) seminar, the SNF has thus invited reporters from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalism (ICIJ) working on the Implant Files. ICIJ partnered with more than 250 journalists in 36 countries. Participants of this seminar will learn the methodologies and tools used for the global investigation. Funding and the future of such cross-border collaborative (science) journalism will also be discussed.
Support for cross-border collaborations
Our managing director, Ides Debruyne, will join the seminar to discuss our different grant programmes that support cross-border journalism.
