Anna Gvarishvili is a journalist and editor based in Tbilisi, Georgia.

She currently leads an Investigative Media Lab at the University of Georgia. In this role, she has managed several international investigative projects, including an investigation into the Black Sea pollution focusing on the war in Ukraine.
She is also an invited lecturer at the University of Georgia, teaching classes in Media and Politics and Investigative Journalism.
Anna Gvarishvili has eight years of experience in TV and online media. From 2020 to 2022, she served as a Managing Editor of Tabula Media, one of the largest and most influential online media outlets in Georgia.

NOVA KAKHOVKA – In June 2023 the Russian military targeted Ukraine's Nova Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant, triggering an ecocide that strained the ecological resilience of the region. The polluted water added to the Black Sea's ongoing environmental degradation because of negligence and weak policies in the region.
