Catrien Spijkerman (1984, The Netherlands) has been working as an independent journalist since 2009.
Her work is been published in national Dutch media such as Trouw, and de Groene Amsterdammer. She is part of the cooperation of investigative journalists SPIT and works on multimedial journalistic productions at Aldus’ producties.
Together with colleague Roos Menkhorst she has published investigative reports on health care for five years now. Their work has been shortlisted for ‘de Loep’, the prize for best investigative journalism in the Netherlands and Flanders.
