Jerry Sam is a trained journalist and local governance expert in Ghana, with over a decade's experience driving positive change through media innovation and digital advocacy.
He has expertise in building the technological capacity of fellow journalists and leveraging new digital tools to address complex civic challenges in areas such as climate change, economic justice, social accountability, local government, human rights, media and information literacy, anti-corruption and natural resource governance.
He was previously a lead researcher with the African Elections Project. He has facilitated numerous New Media training courses and is a fellow of audiencescapes.org. He holds a degree in Journalism and Public Relations.
