Jerry Sam is a trained journalist and a local governance expert with over a decade of invaluable experience in driving positive change through media innovation and digital advocacy.

Jerry Sam has expertise in building the capacity of fellow journalists in using technology to enhance their work and leveraging new digital tools to address complex civic challenges in areas such as climate change, economic justice, social accountability, local government, human rights, media and information literacy, anti-corruption, and natural resource governance.

Jerry was previously a lead researcher with the African Elections Project. He has facilitated a number of New Media training courses and a Fellow at http://www.audiencescapes.org/.He holds a degree in Journalism and Public Relations.
