Lena Fiedler has been working as a freelance journalist and author since 2018.
In her work, she likes to focus on people and animals that can tell stories about social change. But also with the consequences of digital transformations and: the Ruhr region. She often researches abroad: In 2022, she was a scholarship holder of the Heinz Kühn Foundation in Taiwan.
In 2024, she researched as a Kellen Fellow of the American Council on Germany in the US. Her most recent international research took her to the alpaca farmers in Peru. She works mainly on longer reports for print, online and radio.
