Mariana Verbovska

Mariana Verbovska is a Ukrainian environmental and climate change journalist-investigator who works for NGL.media.

In 2017, she was a winner of the United Nations Media Contest ‘Publications for Changes’. In 2018 she received the ‘Honour of the Profession’ award (Ukraine) for the coverage of global warming.

While a 2020 Milena Jesenská Visiting Fellow at Vienna’s Institute for Human Sciences, Mariana started her research on climate change communication in Europe.

In 2021-2022 she worked on a toolkit on Climate Change communication as a Fulbright Researcher at the Centre for Climate Change Communication, George Mason University (the USA).

She joined NGL.media in 2024.
