Robert Schmidt is a journalist based in Strasbourg, France.

Born in Leipzig (Saxony, Germany), Robert passed four years in Lyon and a two years long in-house training at the German newspaper Saarbrücker Zeitung. Today, he is based in Strasbourg at the «invisible» border in between of Germany and France. He mainly works about France, the EU, political conflicts of interest, right-wing extremism and cross-border issues for National media from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and France.
