
Sabrina Pisu is an Italian journalist and author based in Switzerland.
She collaborates with outlets including RSI and L’Espresso, and previously worked in France for Euronews as a correspondent.
Among her books are Il Caso Mattei (Chiarelettere, 2017), which reveals evidence on the assassination of Enrico Mattei; Mi prendo il mondo ovunque sia (Einaudi, 2019) with and about the renowned anti-Mafia photojournalist Letizia Battaglia, translated into several languages, and Il mio silenzio è una stella (Einaudi, 2024), about judge Francesca Morvillo, killed in the Capaci massacre.
Her investigative journalism focuses on organized crime, social justice and human rights. She is also committed to children’s rights - her reportage Nati carcerati (L’Espresso), about juvenile detention, was shortlisted for the Marco Luchetta International Award in 2023.
She has received several journalism awards, including the Franco Giustolisi “Justice and Truth” Award (2020), the Cristiana Matano Internationl Award (2021) and “Paolo Osiride Ferrero” (2023).
