Vittoria Torsello is an Italian freelance journalist.
She graduated with a degree in Political, Social and International Sciences from the University of Bologna, after which she pursued a Master's degree in Journalism, Media and Globalisation at Aarhus University in Denmark and Charles University in Prague.
She investigates environmental issues, corporate accountability, and human rights violations throughout the Mediterranean region. Her work has been published by The Guardian, BBC, Follow the Money, and Irpi Media, among others.
In 2023, she was a finalist for the Premio Morrione award for her video reportage The Gas Propaganda, which was broadcast on the Italian public broadcaster RAI. The reportage also received a special mention at the Life After Oil Film Festival, among other recognitions.
