Morgane Villarrubia Kammer

Morgane

Morgane Villarrubia Kammer, joined Journalismfund Europe in October 2023. She currently coordinates the Professional Development Grants for Environmental Journalism under the Earth Investigations Programme, a project to support collective development and support services to build the capacities of environmental investigative journalists.

Morgane was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland. After finishing a Bachelor in Political Science at the Université de Genève, in 2018 she moved to Brussels to study a Master in International Relations, with an orientation on Security, Peace and Conflicts at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Afterwards, she also completed a Master in European and International Governance at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

She recently moved back to Brussel after traveling in Central America for some time and after spending a year in Bern, Switzerland, where she worked for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
