We are pleased to be able to announce the next upcoming deadline (which will also be the last one of 2016): Thursday 27 October 2016.

Teams consisting of at least two journalists from different European countries can apply for research grants for a cross-border story until Thursday 27 October 2016 at 11.59 pm Brussels time. This is the only remaining deadline in 2016 for the cross-border grants (although there is a deadline for the FoX grants on 21 September).

The European cross-border grant programme is one of Journalismfund.eu's main grant programmes. Since its launch in 2009, the programme has financed or co-financed more than 60 projects for a total amount of over €350,000.

Interested journalists can read more about the grant programme and eligibility criteria here.
