Journalismfund.eu’s next upcoming deadline is planned for September 15th, 2015. In the months running up to the deadline, we offer advice sessions to journalists who are thinking of applying.

Our Editor Europe Brigitte Alfter has blocked four half-days in her agenda for Skype consultations with interested journalists. If you are considering an application for the September 15th deadline, it might be worthwhile to talk with Brigitte prior to applying. She will see whether or not your story is eligible for a Journalismfund.eu cross-border grant, and be able to advise you on possible colleagues or publication platforms.

These are the dates of the advice sessions:

  • Thursday June 25th from 1 to 4 pm
  • Wednesday August 5th from 1 to 4 pm
  • Tuesday August 11th from 1 to 4 pm
  • Tuesday September 1st from 1 to 4 pm
  • !! Monday September 7th from 1 to 4 pm !!

To arrange a time slot for a session, send us an e-mail at info[at]journalismfund.eu with a preferred date and time.

Note that we receive dozens of well-prepared, interesting applications each application round, so your application will only stand a chance to be allocated a working grant if it is very well prepared (and meets the rules for application). This means you should start preparing your application now. Do consider a talk with Brigitte, especially if you are unfamiliar or inexperienced with the Journalismfund.eu working grant programme.
