World Press Freedom Day

Join the UNESCO from 5 - 7 May 2025 in Brussels to discuss the frontline issues about how AI is reshaping media, journalism and information.

A one-day signature global event will take place on 7 May at Bozar, Center for Fine Arts in Brussels on information as a public good in the age of AI.

The event will dive into the future of journalism, explore the transformative power of AI in media, engage with global experts and innovators, and tackle critical challenges at the intersection of technology and press freedom.

Days of Action

During 5 - 6 May, take part in events independently organised around the city by civil society organisations, universities, media freedom networks and other Brussels-based and international organisations.
