Dimitar Ganev is a Bulgarian journalist and media expert.

He conducts research and writes articles, analyses, comment pieces and interviews for international and Bulgarian publications. His work has been published in Deutsche Welle, Euronews, Balkan Insight and Euractiv, to name a few. He has also worked at Bulgarian National Radio and for newspapers, as well as in media regulation.

ANKARA - Turkish communities living in Europe were affected politically by the 15 July 2016 unsuccessful coup d’état.  At least twenty-three Turkish citizens, political opponents of Erdogan, were abducted by the authorities of Bulgaria, Moldova, Kosovo, Ukraine, and Serbia and sent back to Turkey. The expulsions bypassed the sanctions of national courts.
