With its large Islamic population, the majority of which are of Moroccan descent, Brussels has bloomed into Europe’s capital of Islam.

Who are these Muslims and how do they profess Islam in Brussels? Has Brussels become a greenhouse for Islamism in Continental Europe? Be that as it may, the influence of the European Muslim Brothers cannot be denied, the increasing Shiitization is a fact. Even more important, however, are the appeal for a profession of ‘pure Islam’, a literal interpretation of the teachings of Islam, and a return to the Prophet Muhammad’s way of life, which have never been stronger.
