Klaudia (Kaniowska) Bronckaerts, originally from Poland, joined Journalismfund Europe in early 2022. She currently coordinates the Earth Investigations Programme, a project to support environmental investigative journalism on European affairs in and outside Europe.
After finishing school in Poland she moved to Paris where she studies economics at the Sorbonne University in Paris. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics and Management from the university of Nice Sophia Antipolis (France) and Master's degree in Management from the Université de Namur (Belgium). Since 2018 Klaudia was working as Grant Management assistant for Intrasoft international at the European Commission in Brussels. She believes investigative journalism is one of the most important factors in creating democracy.
