Hristio Boytchev is a Berlin-based investigative health and science journalist with an additional focus on data driven analysis.

He contributes regularly as an investigative reporter to the British Medical Journal and leads the project “Follow the Grant”, a data driven tool for investigating conflicts of interest. He was selected as the “European Science Journalist of the Year 2021” by the European Federation for Science Journalism.
