Monica Perosino is a journalist for the Italian newspaper La Stampa since 2001.

She has been covering as a correspondent Eastern and Central Europe, Baltics and Scandinavian countries since 2013. Turin based, but mostly travelling thorough Central and Eastern Europe, Visegrad and Nordic Countries, she focuses mainly on politics, economics and social issues, with a particular attention to civil rights, rule of law and Eu ties and perspectives.   
Last year she has been working on migrants rights in Europe, with a special attention to Middle East refugees crisis between Belarus and Poland and currently covering the war in Ukraine as a special correspondent.
