Sergio Nieto Solis (°1996) has been interested in journalism since an early age. Nevertheless, he first studied law at the University of Utrecht. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree, he switched to a journalism study at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

After completing a successful internship at The Investigative Desk, he joined the organisation as a junior editor in January 2020.
