LUBLIN - The project is meant to increase the scale and effectiveness of the portal's activities. Within its framework, the media will develop financial independence (fundraising), expand  opportunities through purchase of equipment and training and improve reader involvement by creating a newsletter and working on the overall quality of the portal).

Through fundraising we want to strengthen our financial independence. We will introduce several improvements on the portal (easier commenting, text reader, live reports, accessibility for people with disabilities). We will engage readers to act (newsletter, anonymous reporting). We will strengthen the editorial office by purchasing equipment.

Target group

This project will benefit the inhabitants of Lublin and the surrounding area of the Lublin Voivodeship, who have no access to local, independent media, i.e. they are unable to effectively control politicians, especially in the pre-election period. People interested in what is happening in the city and region, local politics. These are usually young or middle-aged people, small entrepreneurs or freelancers.

Indirect recipients will be residents of Lublin interested in what is happening in the city - local politics, functioning of offices. We estimate that during the project, 60 people will contact us asking for publicity, intervention or to report a local problem.

According to the Central Statistical Office data for March, in 2023, the average salary in the enterprise sector in the Lublin Voivodeship is PLN 6,261 gross, with the average for the entire country being PLN 7,508. This places the Lublin Voivodeship in fifth place from the bottom among the 16 voivodeships in the country. At the same time, the unemployment rate in March 2023 was 8.2% and was higher only in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
