For the first time, the event will be mixed: part online and part in person, in São Paulo (SP), with public participation. In the year that Abraji completes 20 years, the 17th Congress will invite leading professionals from the country and the world to discuss investigative journalism, investigation techniques, innovative projects, public transparency, professional security, in addition to issues relevant to democracy.

The 17th Abraji Congress will last five days, from Wednesday to Sunday/ The first two days (3 August 2022 and 4 August 2022) will be online and free. The last three (from 5 to 7 August 2022) will be in person, at FAAP (Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado), in São Paulo, and registration will be paid. Remember that August 7, 2022, will be dedicated to the fourth edition of Domingo de Dados, with workshops and lectures on data journalism, and also the behind-the-scenes of major investigations related to the topic.

The face-to-face meetings will follow the health standards to combat the covid-19 pandemic, and Abraji is committed to ensuring that these protective measures are implemented. More details on registration, speakers, and topics will be announced shortly.
