Journalisme & Citoyenneté invites citizens, researchers, publishers, and journalists to meet in Tours from April 7 to 11 to show, say, and repeat that the truth is definitely not just another opinion!
The event will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Tours as well as at other venues around the city: debates, workshops, evening events, exhibitions, award ceremonies, and even the Journalism Book Fair!
The Journalisme & Citoyenneté association created in 2006, promotes in various ways encounters, exchanges, and debates between those who have chosen journalism as their profession, alongside all the professions that contribute to the production of information and all the citizens who receive it.
Supported by all those involved in the profession and respectful of everyone's freedom, the conference aims above all to be a place for discussion and reflection on journalism and its practice, independent of any authority. It is open to journalists and publishers, students and teachers, researchers, but also and above all to citizens.
