Abdulwaheed Sofiullahi is a Nigerian journalist and researcher focused on climate and environmental reporting.

In 2023, he was a Health Reporting Fellow at the Wits Centre for Journalism, University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is a member of the Oxford Climate Society.

He earned a professional certificate in open-source intelligence techniques (OSINT) for investigating religious extremism in Nigeria, provided by the International Center for Journalists (ICJF) in 2023. Additionally, he participated in a mental health reporting workshop organized by the Center for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) in collaboration with Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI).
