Adams Mensah is a Ghanaian-Belgian actor and filmmaker.

In 2007 he played in the theater piece Genesis by kunstZ, directed by Greet Vissers. Since then he has played in various theater pieces. Adams followed a 2-year course in Audiovisual Arts at Sint-Lukas in Brussels. In 2011, his feature film debut was Mercy about how far a mother goes to protect her child. In 2016 he received "The Special Jury Award" at the Zanzibar International Film Festival for his documentary Me a Belgian, my mother a Ghanaian. In 2018, TV-watching Flanders got to know Adams as refugee Ayo in the soap series Familie on the Flemish commercial broadcaster VTM. For his second documentary Ghana For You he received "The Yaa Asantewaa Award" under the category "Film as a tool for national development" at the Blackstar International Film Festival in Accra Ghana. In December 2018, a TV version of his documentary Ghana For You was shown on the Belgian public broadcaster VRT.

"Ghana For You" is part of a larger project in which Adams explores the causes that encourage young Ghanaians to emigrate. Starting from his personal life story, he starts looking for possible explanations.
