Adeline Umutoni is a Burundese-Rwandese journalist currently working for Radio Isango Star in Rwanda.

She started her career at Burundese opposition radio RPA. When the radio's offices were burned down, Umutoni fled to Rwanda, where she works for a radio station in Kigali.

In the past, she worked for three years at Radio Publique Africaine (RPA) in Burundi, as a reporter and presenter of the spoken newspaper.

In March 2015, as part of the Great Lakes Info Project, she received training on media coverage of the elections.

Jovial, positive and patient, Adeline is also multilingual and masters French, English, Swahili, Kirundi and Kinyarwanda.
