She specialises in environmental and social issues in the Mediterranean region. Her work has been featured in Associated Press, TRT World, Reasons To Be Cheerful, Green European Journal, as well as Italian outlets, such as Sky and Rai.

She is an Italian Journalism Prize “Roberto Morrione” finalist and co-founder of Marea Media, a non-profit media organisation based in Naples.

NARDÒ / STUTTGART – Natura 2000 constitutes the biggest network of protected natural areas in the European Union. But under the guise of public interest, these nature protection zones are increasingly being threatened by private industrial investments. It is the case of Nardò’s countryside, on the western coast of the heel of Italy's boot. Here, the Bosco d'Arneo, a Natura 2000 protected area, was threatened by the expansion project of the test drive circuit of the German company Porsche.
