Alexandra Heal covers the private equity and private credit industries for the FT from London.
Previously Alex was a reporter on the FT's visual storytelling team, specialising in features and investigations on a variety of subjects. She also spent summer 2023 reporting from around the US as the Washington Post's Stern-Bryan Fellow. Before joining the FT she was a reporter at the Bureau of Investigative Journalism where she won the 2020 Private Eye Paul Foot Award for Investigative and Campaigning Journalism.
