Amy Westervelt is an award-winning investigative climate journalist with over 20 years of experience on the climate beat, reporting for a diverse range of outlets, including Inside Climate News, The Washington Post, The Guardian, and many more.

In 2018, she started the investigative podcast "Drilled," billed as a "true-crime podcast about climate change." Today Drilled is a multimedia, cross-border newsroom investigating climate accountability all over the world. In 2023, Amy was named a Covering Climate Now Journalist of the Year. Her work has previously received Murrow, ONA, SEJ, Rachel Carson, and Folio awards, as well as a Peabody nomination.
