Andreea Pavel is a Romanian investigative journalist from Constanța.

In 2012, she founded the local investigative outlet Info Sud-Est and later on the Info Sud-Est Association (2021), followed by the launch of Heritage Constanța (2022), the county’s first digital archive of historic monuments. An editor at G4Media since 2018, her work has appeared in Libertatea, Scena9, RISE Project and Context.ro, with investigations published in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.

Her awards include Freedom House Romania’s Young Journalist of the Year (2014), a Superscrieri honorary prize for local media (2017), Superscrieri First Prize for her contribution to the 2021 investigation "The meekness of the blindfolded goddess", as well as the Jury Prize plus First Prize for Local Media (2022) for work also published by Süddeutsche Zeitung. She co-authored the OCCRP investigation “Romanian Army Land Used by NATO Owned by Friends and Kin of Syrian Dictator.”
