Ángel Varela Pena is a Spain-based journalist and campaign manager.

He combines his work as a freelance reporter at BBC, Euronews, RTVE, with his roles as Campaign Manager of Niunpezporlaborda.org and Communications Manager of Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) in Spain & Portugal.

Varela Pena has been directing his own radio show 'Global5' at Radio 5 (RTVE) since February 2015. He has also been working as a filmmaker and communication expert in Mozambique, Botswana and Brussels for the Centre for the Development of Enterprise.
