Arend Bucher is a Japanologist by training with an extensive interest in cultural history.
A fascination with societies and their respective cultures was there from an early age, but Japan was central to it. Between the passion for this country, Arend also sees the dark sides in society. It is with this eye that Arend joined hands with Robbe to bring one of these social problems, or say confusions, to attention through a reportage.
